And I'm off!

I feel absolutely exhausted, after a 7 hour flight and lots of sitting waiting around. I'm 6000km down at the moment, at Dubai airport waiting for my connecting flight. It's 28 degrees and unfeeling ok with the heat, which bodes well for the next two months.
Unfortunately I don't think I'm going to manage to sleep before I arrive in Bangalore, so I will have been awake for over 24 hours- not fun. Hopefully I'll be able to convince my body clock to work on Indian time now. I'm glad I have a week to adjust before I start in the hospital.
Just one more hour to kill...
