Another job complete today. We did some other work on the property last week. The home owner had dug out a couple of large hostas from this bed and wanted something that would give a bit more curb appeal. I added a few things, but there was still a strip of grass between the bed and the driveway. I wasn't there when the crew spread the mulch, otherwise I would have said to remove the strip of grass then.
I looked at the photo I took after it was done, but really didn't like it. I talked to the homeowner and he agreed that it could be removed and a couple more plants added. Today was the first chance I had to get back there to do it. It looks better and the tenants will not have a small strip of grass to mow.
I deleted my comments from the post on the next door app. The customer is still looking forward to me coming there next week. Some guy that does not know me or my business commented that when he saw the post he thought she should have hired a student instead of a business that he said would pay their worker $15/hour and keep $35. I didn't bother to respond that I pay my workers more than $15/hour and that I am right there beside them working too. Some people just want to be keyboard warriors, but they really should do some research before they start typing anything.
