Ready and waiting

We visited Holmwood House today. It is thought to be the best example of domestic archtecture by the Glasgow architect Alexander "Greek" Thomson. Rescued by the NTS from developers in 1994, restoration is a work in progress. I don't particularly like the angular appearance from the outside but the inside is beautiful and fascinating. The welcome from and enthusiasm of the guides was refreshing.

However I chose to blip mr s's picture of the two youngest grandchildren ready for their BBQ food , which is ready for them.
