Fabulous paddle

My friend K and I went out early this morning for a paddle.  We left on Lake River and headed out to the Columbia River then northerly to the Lewis River, where we ate on a sandbar and watched all the excitement on the river.  Salmon fishing must have just opened, there were so many little fishing boats on the river.  We watched a big freighter headed downstream and it was blowing its horn non stop, trying to get the fishermen out of the way, then a sheriffs boat showed up to help clear the way.  This shot was taken from the Columbia River facing the entrance to the Lewis River.  Also had a seal enjoying the fishing.  Fun paddle with fabulous weather.
