Corsenside
High up in Redesdale, before Catcleugh Reservoir and its little track called Treshnish Road stands this lovely old 12c church and vicars house. I had a chat with a drystone waller fixing up a wall of the vicar’s house farmyard (now a holiday home). He lived in nearby Vellingham and had learnt his trade from father and grandfather who were farmers.
Before leaving York I went screwfix and got a toilet inlet valve and fitted it. A shirt but lovely stay..
Back in Edinburgh with the haar moving in and out. We took a saunter down to Stockbridge fir the steps and second hand books.
