A lot taller than me

Im 5ft 2in so this sunflower is doing very well. It was an odd leftover a bit wonky but i just stuck it in and its gone skyward.

Another hot day so took Tanzy early before it got hot. Then home for a coffee.

Misty had a vets appointment for her annual booster at 10.30 and she had not been let out this morning in case she dissapeared, so we put her harness on and let her get used to it for an hour. Then loaded her into the cat basket which she objected to very vocally. When we opened it up at the vets he sprayed his hand with something and wiped it over her head I think he said it was to calm her. She didn't like him touching her but we talked to her and stroked her head and neck which she likes. She went back in her basket with no problem. Glad to get away from him.
She was happy to go out when we got home.

The rest of the day I have not done much. More watering of plants and hanging baskets but otherwise a pretty lazy day. Even had beans on toast for tea an easy meal.

Sounds like it will be another hot one tomorrow.
