Later that same Day

A day of pure azureness.  Startling in that the fish man arrived, out of kilter, so we bought some haddock.  In weather like this, why go on holiday?  I lifted the remainder of the cabbage and trimmed them ready for blanching* and freezing.  Watered the sprouts and ticked off my list whilst CMC went into the Toon to meet former teaching college colleagues.  Went across to visit my Mum for a debrief – now that her special visitors have left the county.
