What a scorcher of a day! 

We were up early for the delivery and installation of Tim’s new oven. His old one died rather suddenly last week and we are grateful it passed in the summer when we’re less likely to use an oven.

Later on we went to Tate Modern to see A World in Common, an exhibition of modern African photography. It was vast and fascinating. I would recommend it if you’re in town.
