Sad…

… Soon just a distant memory?

I liked there being a store in town.

The day we heard it was closing (before lockdown) I was out walking and saw some neighbours, gathered and clearly upset.
I thought there had been a bereavement so approached with what I considered to be an appropriate expression.
Losing this store was a huge loss for some.
