Playing field

Today I enjoyed a wonderful performance by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Opera House. We were treated to John Adams (Short Ride in a Fast Machine), Winton Marsalis (Violin Concerto, soloist Nicola Benedetti) and Stravinsky (The Firebird). After the Marsalis piece, Winton himself popped up out of the audience and onto the stage. Imagine my surprise! 

This morning's highlights included a short stint at the gym and a stroll through the local streets looking for a pic in the glorious spring weather. The nets on the school playing field caught my eye. 

The countdown has begun for the Patagonian adventure. I'll learn Spanish tomorrow.
