Toots in Solitude

Land Stripes

This is where these used to be.

It was the East Linton Gala today, crowning of the chosen Gala Queen, races, Pipe Bands and all the usual events that these affairs have. I missed most of it as I was over in the land of Donald, ready to wave him and Luke a fond goodbye as they head North for a few days.
Now I am left to lift my grotty carpets and paint the floors and as we all know, shifting the furniture around, taking out every tack and staple and general cleaning in preparation takes as long as waiting for the paint to dry. There is also the inevitable forgetfulness where the plod foot tramples on to the still wet paint.
