Carnival time

First carnival of the year was held at Stoney Stanton which is the next village up from us.
The theme this year was childrens stories. We had Peter Pans and Captain Hooks, Snow Whites and Dwarves, Cinderellas and Ugly Sisters....all done by the local childrens schools and groups with the occasional adult up there. Great effort again this year.
The entertainment on the playing field was the same as always with the WI doing a roaring trade in teas and cakes
Couldn`t decide what to post so you get the Donkey with stripey ears...
