Canal Cycle

We met up with friends at Bathampton, near Bath (England UK) about 10.30 to do a circular cyle route along the Kennet & Avon Canal into Bath City Centre and through the Devonshire and Combe Down Tunnels and the Tucking Mill Viaduct, enjoying coffee at The Angel Fish Canal Centre (Brassknocker Hill, Monkton Combe, Bath).

The whole route was a short 15miles, and just pure luck that it fitted in with this week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge with the theme of 'water' of which there was plenty as the main photo' shows. The extra shows Mrs BB with our friends cycling on the towpath which is part of the National Cycle Network.

We enjoyed at brew up back at our cars before the 70 minute journey home through the Wye Valley. Another hot day but enjoyable.
