wildly colourful

Caught this pretty hoverfly on a newly opened cerise gladioli - such intense colour.
My Blurb book arrived this morning and I’m very pleased with it. Did a bit in the garden until it got too hot and humid. Repotted a few plants, collected a bowl of tomatoes, and moved some clumps of sedge into other parts of the garden. It’s a bit invasive but a really useful plant as it will grow anywhere.
