Grey Heron
Another strange morning. The young male flew over, had one bit of fish then flew off back to the loch. There were a few crows and the gull was back with the two juveniles in tow. I made my way to the clearing and the nervous male flew over. The chick then appeared and the male jumped out of the way. the young male flew over to a log in the middle of the loch but would come no further. The little female (pictured) appeared but kept well away from the chick I managed to feed the three of them (the young male was just out of reach). The chick got the bulk of today.s feed though.
Something is definitely spooking them!
The extra is the chick.
