Reach for the moon

It is that time of year again when the shadow of the tree - two doors up - begins to cast a shadow over our garden in the afternoon.

The previous owners periodically trimmed its height back but it has become bulkier and, as this photo shows, it is shooting upwards again.

In spring it is less of an issue as the tree is not in full leaf but as this month progresses the shadow will grow over the garden earlier each day.

I will still be able to find a sunny spot but not as easily.
