Scabious

There don’t seem to be too many butterflies left to enjoy the return of sunny weather. Plenty of Speckled Wood, but everything else is thin on the ground, with Small White, Red Admiral and Comma (pictured, with it’s particularly clear comma marking) being around in only small numbers, despite the plentiful Devil’s-bit Scabious in the meadows.
