Damson time

The good weather has come just right for harvesting damsons. We went to pick some from Tony and Heather’s orchard. The fruit is plump and delicious. I have 25lbs!
I made the damson jam yesterday and today some bramble jelly.
Bonnie had her first walk at Roudsea Woods where I took her around the boardwalk. That was a new expensive for her as it’s covered in metal mesh! She was fine with it though and thoroughly enjoyed herself. An amazing 30C here today with a strong wind from the east.
