Berry Picking

This young swallow was eating something off the branch and I wasn't entirely sure wha but think it might have been a berry or even small insect.

Having headed to Ripple but with various things going on I got there and realised I'd totally forgotten my camera. I did have a lens but ...
Doing a uey and cross with myself I headed home and decided to go to the canal bank. As luck would have it there was a flight of swallows which kept settling in the bushes and were just lovely to watch. 

It's Hubs birthday today so out for an early meal as it's a school night.
