Coffee with Jack and Barbara first thing, they started Garvald Centre Edinburgh way back in the late '60's.
Then on to the Dovecot Studios to see the Scottish Women Artists Exhibition to be followed by soup at the Surgeons Hall.
A walk back home over the Meadows proved a step too far for Donald and he lost the ability to walk properly from Bruntsfield onwards. A wonderful man called Jim came to our rescue and drove us back home. The thing was he himself had this very day been diagnosed with Parkinsons and he became very emotional and set me off in floods of tears, oh dear.
