Garfagnana

After four days of historic cities and amazing Ligurian / Tuscan cuisine, we dearly needed physical activities today.

So we drive towards the Alpi Apuane and did a half day hike in the Garfagnana region. The cenic circular walk high above the valley took us to four Fosciandora villages Ceserana, La Villa, Migliano and Lupinaia.

A well deserved Caprese salad and pizza Napoli on the way back. After 4 evenings of utter indulgence, we also kept it simple food wise today.
