A Journey To Aberfeldy

Yvonne Hair is an artist who features in our collection. She had advised us of a solo exhibition she has in a gallery in the town.

I devised a route that would take by Aberfeldy while avoiding the dreaded A9. The weather was very fine and we arrived at the gallery.

We enjoyed looking around the gallery which featured several other crafts and artists. Thereafter we tried to find a place for lunch with no success at all. Aberfeldy was holding a fayre and every place was fully booked.

We headed for Crieff. Again, no luck and so we carried onto Gloagburn Farm Shop where we enjoyed a late lunch.

Gloagburn has an excellent delicatessen and gift shop as well as some art works. Pat stocked up on some treats and we made our way home.

Today’s Blipfoto is a sculpture made by Alan Heriot for her recent birthday.  The stone carving is 22 cms high.

We settled down with some treats and red wine to enjoy the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix.
