Hints of Autumn

I spent much of the day working up a headache trying to work out to export a document from Affinity Publisher. Eventually, the dialog showed the option for pdf. Success! But then, how to export the cover files. No understandable information for how to import pdfs as templates. Fail!

We motored out to Costock in the afternoon in the hope of buying meat from Elms Farm. Of course, it was Monday so the shop was closed, as was Bryers, the coffee shop in East Leake. We settled for a stroll in Meadow Park so that at least Basil could get a run.

I crawled behind on my crutches. In the 'dogs on leads' area I came across this fork in a tree trunk. Not so obvious in the photo perhaps, but there was a haziness in the air typical of Autumn. Brambles proliferate everywhere and the spiders get busy weaving their webs.
