A New Trail

I finally got to walk the trails in this little park on the Eastside of town. How silly that I’ve never been here before; it’s just a few miles from home. The view is looking out toward the ocean, over the algae covered lagoon. Magical lighting and color, reminds me of Maxfield Parrish, or the beginning of a fairy tale.

Made a big batch of granola, and pizza dough for tomorrow’s dinner. Thought about the applesauce for a really long time and decided I would rather finish the incredibly creepy None of This is True, by Lisa Jewell.  The apples will wait in their flats on the kitchen floor til tomorrow, when we will probably bring in more from our crazy prolific trees.
