Blue Skies at Teatime

Shetland seems to be missing the current heatwave.  Raining first thing, remained dull with low cloud, and windy.  

Up at 5am, early shift in the airport.  A morning meeting and boarding flights, on the check-in desk in the afternoon.  All flights on time.  Popped by Laura and the lasses on my way home.  A quiet evening at home, some walkies with Sammy, and dad nipped by briefly.  Early to bed. 

The whole UK bask in glorious sunshine, the isles seem to be missing out again.  It looks like our weather should improve over the next few days, warming up and some sunny spells, but we'll not get anything too extreme, upper teens will be suffice.  There was hope on my way home today.  The clouds started to break up, blue skies started to appear, even some lovely sunshine, but the winds took more clouds to put us back in our place.  Taken at Brake, Aithsetter, Cunningsburgh.
