Retro

People from my generation are known to say that we didn’t used to eat junk food. I saw this today in Waitrose. I don’t think food gets much less nutritious than Smash!   My grandma, who lived to her nineties, used to cook a Fray Bentos pie when my mum and my aunt went to see her. She refused to cut the lid off first. My mum was fully expecting that one day she’d get there and find Grandma had blown up the kitchen with the pie. It turned out she never did.
