I had to get up early to get H on the swimming list…. It’s the most ridiculous system - you phone the pool at 06:30 on the first Monday in September. The first 20 people get their names put on the list. If a place becomes available for a swimming lesson in the next 12 months they will call and offer the slot to the first person on the list. There is no knowing where you are on the list and I have no further information.
So after 7 attempts I managed to get through and he’s on the list to maybe be offered lessons at an unknown day/time for an unknown cost. As he’s a child of many activities, if he does get offered something I doubt it will fit in! .
