Well I just had to have one!

Just written out a long description and lost it all!
Never mind.
We were in Arrowmanches earlier today, which is where most of the American forces landed on D-Day.
There is a very large museum dedicated to it.
Quite a few coach parties came and went with mainly Americans.
We walked into Bayeux this evening for our evening meal, which we enjoyed sitting outdoors at a lovely little restaurant in the velvet warmth as the sun began to sink behind the spires of the Cathedral.
I always enjoy the hum of conversation with its mix of languages being spoken.
There were Americans and Germans alongside English and French.
Now back at our lovely hotel sitting outside with our books.
It was 28C here today but I believe it’s hot at home too!
30C forecast tomorrow.
