Joyous return to summer

Could not be more delighted that we are having a brief return to summer after a complete wash-out so far.

This morning was the last long run before Vyrnwy. Feeling quite positive as I managed to do the half marathon distance today in 2.06 and that was with heat, hills and not pushing too hard. Also following a very late night and not much sleep but the less said about that, the better.

In a bid to make the most of every minute of sun, this afternoon was a cycle out to Uffington along the old canal for a pint at the Corbet. They had a delightfully sunny beer on in a pint glass that was begging to be taken home (I resisted).
