Playing Nicely

Ellie's younger cousin has been at the beach with us this long weekend. She is a year younger and quite a bit shorter than Ellie, but sharp as a whip. She reads fluently and she has an amazing vocabulary; the conversations and imaginations of these two are worth listening to. They mostly play well together and we have enjoyed having them both with us at the beach. They are sleeping in the same room so bedtime has been a bit of a challenge but tonight they actually went to sleep pretty easily. 

Last night I was awakened by thunder and lightning; it seemed that we got a great deal of rain too. Today was a rainy day so we all enjoyed time inside playing games.
