Something to look forward to...

Woke just before 8am when D's alarm went off but he was already up and just about to head downstairs to wait for the Tesco delivery.

Got a message from our friend Gail to say her daughter Laura and boyfriend George have gotten engaged.  Lovely news.  Look forward to hearing all about it when the golf widows get together later this month.

Edited some more of the holiday photos I took on my phone.  Hoping my lap top will be fixed over the next couple of days as I am desperate to edit my camera shots.

Before we went on holiday we arranged to meet friends T&V at a local hotel today for Sunday lunch.  I find it's always good to have something to look forward to at the end of a holiday.  Had a lovely afternoon with them and enjoyed a delicious meal.  We were still blethering away at 6pm!

On the short stroll home we met our neighbour Isobel returning from walking her dog.  Not seen her for ages (other than to wave to) so ended up having a long blether with her.

Evening of tv including some really awful American crime drama.  The writing and acting were so bad!  It was laughable!  Won't be watching that again!  

Finally got my blips up to date.  Thank you for all your lovely comments, stars and hearts over the past week.  Hoping to get back to commenting tomorrow :-)
