The party's over

Air show last day. Maybe forever. That's sad. Two reasons I understand, the environment, and our council's huge budget deficit. They will be discussing at a council meeting soon, and then make a decision.

Had visitors pm. Our Canadian/Ukrainian friends, and our young neighbour + boyfriend (super charming and polite couple from Calcutta - both work in IT here. Lovely afternoon, watched the last air displays with them.

Went for a walk at 8pm to see the former hotel, now abandoned, which has been cordoned off for a few days after body parts were discovered on the cliff top. Seems the crime scene has now moved to a property in Boscombe. Likely linked to drugs.

Was very warm and muggy. Thankfully now, 10:30pm, cooling down. Looks like this week's temperature will soar.
