Sheltered
Bailey had the right idea today, seeking the shade under the bench. He was in and out of the garden most of this morning and afternoon, having had his walk before it got too warm. I did a few bits and pieces for work but nothing too taxing. And this afternoon, the bestest friend and I walked to the pub to sit in the sunshine. Bailey travelled in his carrier and caused a bit of.a stir on arrival with fellow / former border terrier owners. It took him a while to realise his favourite had joined us - and transported us home once pints had been drunk. It was a good way to finish off the holidays.
It's been six weeks of more travelling than being at home as it usually is. Time spent in Anglesey, Scarborough and the Lakes have all provided a break from the term time grind. Walks, photography, reading, being by the sea and in the hills and spending time with friends and family have made for a very good summer.
