I spent some of my Sunday in Moniaive at a taster day for the Cairn Chorus Choir. I sang with the CC before Covid and this is my first time back, for the Christmas term. I'm taking a short break from drumming, and I'll miss my Sisters, but there are also some lovely people in the choir who I'm looking forward to meeting up with again.

My voice has changed in  the last few years, so today I tried singing tenor instead of soprano, and it was great (especially the drone in the Georgian song!). So it's lots of Christmassy songs - sacred, secular and as usual in several languages. 12 weeks or so until the concerts :-)

I did some gardening when I came home and then we cooked our tea over a fire in the woods.
