Bronze Devil

L had a gymnastics competition up in Perth today. She hasn’t been feeling the love for her trade these days and she has had one or two minor injuries which have hampered her training so we were reserved with our expectations.  

She didn’t do as well on her first rotation which was beam due to her injury. However, her second rotation was floor and she smashed that and finished third (there was no second as joint first).  

She did well on bars but only placed joint sixth so she wants to find out why from her coach and she had a wee moment on vault which was a shame. All in all though, she finished eighth out of forty three girls so big well done to L.

Hopefully this gives her the confidence to move forward. She’s a cracking little gymnast.
