Wine Festival

We picked up our hire car this morning and drove to a large bakery we have passed loads of times but never been. The cafe has a stunning view where we sat and ate our pastries.
Next we drove to Afionas but not on the 'road of death' this time! The village is lovely with lots of little houses with beautiful gardens. The view is stunning and is from the opposite end of Arillas Bay that we usually see. As we had the car we had a delicious lunch at Akrotiki which usually involves a very steep climb.
In the evening it was the first Wine Festival to take place since 2019 and as usual was good fun. It has obviously been affected by inflation as it used to be 8€ for the jug then free refills but now it's 10€ then 5€ each refill. As we could still hear the music until around 2am this has obviously made no difference to the hard-core festival goers!
