Wispy cloud formations caught my eye as we started our walk down to Scoughall and onto Ravensheugh Beach. Remarkably calm - not a bit of a breeze.
Back home chatted with neighbours, scrounged some of his tatties and picked enough brambles for a couple of crumbles.
Started watching Alastair Cooke’s America in the evening. Made in 1971, it’s like opening a time capsule.
