We took the traumatic step of getting Owen's hair cut this morning and, as a treat for doing it, followed it up with a visit to Shrewsbury Fire Station's open day.

There was loads of stuff there. As well as fire engines*, there was Blood Bikes* and Cave Rescue complete with cave tunnel and a 'squeeze box' that Owen did brilliantly crawling through. On top of that there were demonstrations in the fire tower and cutting a car up. It was all great fun and we'll have to keep an eye out for next year's.
