So beautiful
I know these will just make new weeds but they look so lovely in the sunlight. I don't like to chop them down before they have had chance to shine. They are at the bottom of the garden which we tend to let do its own thing so it doesn't really matter if they spread. They are certainly more attractive than the docks! They are quite pretty when in flower too.
I had an early morning call from mum who had finally used her buzzer. The carer called 111 for her. Some lovely paramedics attended and made her comfortable. They offered to take her to hospital but did say she would probably spend a lot of time sitting uncomfortably waiting. She really didn't want to go in again so they contacted a doctor and had a prescription delivered to them which they gave to Bristol Court. One of the staff kindly went out to the pharmacy to collect it for her. It is only for extra pan relief so we will have to see how it progresses over the weekend. If it's not improved by Monday I will call her GP and ask for a visit. Bristol Court did ring me during the morning to let me know what was happening in case I hadn't spoken to mum. They are very caring.
It was a busy morning at the village hall as we were short of volunteers, some being on holiday. We managed with three of us doing a four man job! Everyone was patient and they all got their bacon butties and cuppas served with a smile.
The afternoon was glorious and so the garden got some attention although I did just sit for a little while and enjoy the sunshine.
