Working on my Salish Sea journal

This week I painted the multi page map of the Salish Sea as a background for the first six pages of the little journal. Then I did the assignment for pages 2 & 3. It’s about the sea’s borders and had to include something to do with canoes. I chose the amazing single log canoe that carver Felix Solomon built. I was fortunate to be present while he was working on the canoe.
