Pyrojam!

We got home way past midnight, so this blip is a bit late. This is a photo of one of the huge fireballs that they launched. You could feel the heat from way back in the cheap seats.
Pyrojam is the largest fireworks show on the East Coast of the US. It is an international competition. Tonight, the UK entry won. 
It was a superlative photo opportunity. I did a lot of homework to prepare for shooting the fireworks, but totally missed the mark.
