In the words of the Irish Chiropodist:-
"Yer fate is in mme Hands."
On the left  - Never been dropped - by me.  Fairly obviously it's been weak for some time.  That's how I picked it from the Drying Rack.
On the right - Again, never dropped, just a fault which "appears to appear" sooner or later.
