Azalea - Silver Slipper

'Silver' seems a strange descriptor when the throat is such a rich, and beautifully patterned, yellow, but it no doubt refers to the white petals.

The photo here shows the flowers in tight bud; but the very hot weather of the last two days has brought many of the buds into full flower and is releasing the wonderful perfume.

A joy to have in the garden.
