Kit Hill

My stepdad went to spend the day with his family today, a very rare day off, so I was in charge. We went to Kit Hill, where the views are incredible, had lunch then drove back home via the street where I grew up. My mum did very well, but I notice that as soon as we got back home she really went backwards.I really feel they need to get some respite care for my stepdad, and my mum would hugely benefit from interaction with different people.

I’m struggling to convince them, my mum is a bit oblivious and stepdad is proud and stubborn. I may have to just present them with a plan and hope they buy into it.

I’m back at the hotel drinking a bottle of red and watching a Metallica documentary - this is my therapy.

Meanwhile, D and A are celebrating the anniversary of their Hindu wedding by making me outrageously jealous - see extras. Also an extra to remind me how amazing that day was. Like a dream.
