Coffee companions

Apart from bumping into a friend* I hadn't seen for several years this morning, the highlight of my day was meeting pals Liz and Nancy for coffee and a blether in The Aizle. They are always good company and Nancy gives me the latest gossip news from my old building.

* Norma gave me the shocking news that our other friend, Jessie, is now in a local care home, suffering from dementia. Sad news. We all used to play badminton back when our kids were at primary school.
