Progress in Lilliput
Having returned to Lilliput along with his brother after many years, Gulliver was amazed to find that, having settled the war with Blefuscu over which end of an egg should be broken (they compromised and now break the side), the Lilliputians had experienced an industrial revolution and were now living in terraced houses in factory towns, with steam trains and trams for transport. He was concerned that none of the trains seemed to be moving though; perhaps Lilliput had also adopted the Rail Strike?
