Harmless Clouds

…over the Taunus hills near my mother’s house. I visited for coffee and a long chat, mostly with her carers (my mother doesn’t talk much anymore). 
It was warm enough for us to sit on the terrace and enjoy the garden. This summer’s roller-coaster weather continues: After a wet and cool week with temperatures around 17°C, we’ll get another heatwave, with over 30°C on Monday.
 
When I drove home, I was hoping for some me-time in the garden. I didn’t know that the neighbours are having a garden party, with music and a barbecue. Perhaps I‘ll find some peace and quiet tomorrow.
