VARIETY
My unofficial bro-in-law's 60th birthday party was at the local arts centre. There were many reasons to celebrate, and it was lovely to see 75 percent of my sisters, although we were all racing round like BAFs to help get it all ready beforehand. The birthday boy (in striped blazer and wig) had organised a variety show from local talent, and a folk concert in the evening. As part of the show he called on several of his old schoolmates - who weren't expecting it - to join him onstage to sing their old school song. You can see the reverence and respect with which they treated it (and one of them was a retired headmaster of the school).
