Jungle Trek
We all have a tendency to look at life from a personal perspective, we see only in part and not the whole. The above photograph is a very good example of what I want to portray. When we look at any object, we see from the perspective of the position in which we stand. We are also influenced by our understanding and learning about what we see. A good example of this is the picture of a cave man type who stands before you with murderous intent in his eyes and a club upraised. The instant appraisal is the we are in trouble and expect to be harmed seriously. Now, what we do not see from our perspective is a woman and a child behind the man and further, the saber toothed tiger behind us. Now, what is the intent as we now see a bigger picture? The man is protecting his family from a deadly enemy which is behind you. The only enemy to you is the saber toothed tiger which the man is about to attempt to deliver you from as well as his family.
Point is, God, the Creator sees a much bigger picture than you do. Now, the image in the picture of what appears to be a jungle is actually the undergrowth of a marigold flower in a plant pot on my balcony.
