A lot of differences of opinion about whether the swathes of bright yellow rape seed crop are good or bad in the Scottish countryside.

The oils they produce are a more sustainable fuel than those from many other sources, and I like the gashes of vivid colour they put into some quite dull green and brown arable field networks.

So, despite the pollen pestilence, which irritates the bejesus out of me, and the non-native elements of their existence here, I love it!
